Barry W. Malone, J.D., B.A.
Barry Malone has practiced law in Prince Edward Island for over seven years, with a focused practice in real estate, corporate matters, estate planning and estate administration. The majority of his work is devoted to real estate law, where he has earned a strong reputation for handling residential, commercial, and agricultural transactions with care and precision.

Barry understands that purchasing property is one of the most significant investments a client will make. Whether the transaction involves a home, cottage, or farm, there is no room for error. Issues such as unclear title, restrictive covenants, or limitations on development can have serious short and long-term consequences. Barry’s approach is detail-oriented and preventative, ensuring that clients clearly understand both the risks and opportunities associated with their property.
Born and raised on a multi-generational farm outside of Souris in Kings County, Barry has deep roots in eastern Prince Edward Island and a firsthand understanding of agricultural and rural property matters. He currently resides on part of the home farm with his young family and Nola, the family bernedoodle with a big personality.
In his spare time, Barry remains actively involved in farming and agriculture with his father through Malone Farms Inc., growing certified organic grain, pulse, and oilseed crops. He values hard work, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving, principles that carry through in both his personal life and legal practice.
